We always like to come up with creative new ideas for how we can get the whole team together, to thank everyone for their hard work and achievements throughout the year. This year we thought the perfect way to get in the Halloween spirit was to have the afternoon off to hold our very own pumpkin carving competition in the office!
We love to support local charities in the Exeter area, so we decided to buy 15 pumpkins and donate £10 to charity for every pumpkin that was carved. The whole team agreed this was a great idea and we carved a total of 15 pumpkins, raising £150.
The winner of the carving competition had the honour deciding which charity we would be donating the money to.
The winner of the Leads To You pumpkin carving competition 2018 was Charlotte and she decided that the £150 would be donated to Mind - Exeter and East Devon.
Mind are a great charity who work tirelessly to promote emotional and mental wellbeing, they challenge stigma and discrimination and empower individuals through positive recovery-focused services and projects. Mind offer a supportive, safe and responsive space to individuals struggling with mental health. We believe that those struggling with their mental health should have more support from their employers, so we are extremely excited to be supporting Mind. You can read more about Mind and what they do by visiting their website.
We have gathered together some of our best pictures from the day:
