It’s the most wonderful time of the year, chestnuts are roasting on an open fire and bells are jingling all the way. That’s right - we’re well and truly in December now, which means Christmas will be here before we know it. One of our favourite things about Christmas is the selection of festive knitwear available on the high street, boosting the Christmas spirit whilst acting as a comfortable and cool fashion statement at the same time. We particularly love Christmas jumpers when wearing them can make a big difference in the world - which is why Leads to You are getting involved with Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.
Today is Christmas Jumper Day and Leads to You couldn’t possibly be more excited about donning our festive knitwear and getting involved for an incredibly good cause - to raise funds for the Save the Children charity.
We've put our game faces on, dusted off our festive clothing and we are ready to battle it out to see who will be crowned the King or Queen of Christmas jumpers!
Everyone kindly donated to Save the Children, with Leads To You matching the total amount raised. We aimed to raise as much money as possible for this wonderful charity whilst having a lot of fun doing so! We have been using the Save the Children Christmas jumper day pack which is full of fundraising ideas and games to help us to get the whole office in the spirit.
A simple donation of £2 could be the difference between a hot meal for a child - or no meal at all. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible and make the world better with a sweater. Something as simple as donating £2 whilst wearing your favourite Christmas jumper can help bring essential healthcare, education, food and protection to millions of children all over the world - many of which are missing out on things as basic as food and clean water in their day to day lives.
Save the Children works relentlessly to help improve the lives of children all over the world, and Leads to You are absolutely delighted to be getting involved with Christmas Jumper Day, which is not only a great cause but it allows us to crank the Christmas spirit up a notch in the office, play Christmas songs all day and enjoy a healthy sprinkling of festive cheer with a few mince pies thrown in here and there too!
